Electoral (Integrity) Amendment Bill

Proposed amendment

Hon Dr Nick Smith, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 5

In clause 5, after new section 55E (page 4, after line 16), insert:

55F Sections 55A to 55D do not override section 23 of Parliamentary Privilege Act 2014

For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions in sections 55A to 55D do not override section 23 of the Parliamentary Privilege Act 2014.

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper amends clause 5 to insert new section 55F.
