Proposed amendment
Jami-Lee Ross, in Committee, to move the following amendment:
Schedule 2
In Schedule 2, after item L16 (page 29), insert:
| LP17 | Mill Road Corridor upgrade | Auckland Transport and the New Zealand Transport Agency | As part of Auckland’s Supporting Growth Programme, the Mill Road corridor upgrade is an additional route from Manukau to Drury with a new 21.5km 4–lane corridor, including walking and cycling facilities, running parallel to State Highway 1, providing residents with a safer way to move between the communities of Manukau, Manurewa, Papakura, and Drury |
Northern section: This section is approximately 9km and runs from SH1 Redoubt Road interchange to the Mill Road/Popes Road interchange Central section: This central section runs from where the northern section designation ends near the Popes Road/Mill Road intersection, down to Hunua Road Southern section: This section runs from Hunua Road to SH1 in Drury South |
Explanatory note
This Supplementary Order Paper proposes to amend the COVID-19 Recovery (Fast-track Consenting) Bill to include in the list of projects of Schedule 2 the Mill Road Corridor upgrade.
