Proposed amendments

Hon Nick Smith, in Committee, to move the following amendments:

Clause 10

In clause 10(2)(e)(v) replace “agencies. ” (page 14, line 20) with “agencies; and”.

After clause 10(2)(e) (page 14, line 20), insert:

Economy
(f)

to spend public money wisely and effectively.

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper amends the Public Service Legislation Bill to insert a new public service principle of ensuring that public money is used wisely and effectively.
