Proposed amendments

Chris Bishop, in Committee, to move the following amendments:

Clause 4

In clause 4 (page 6, lines 5 to 9), insert in the appropriate alphabetical order:

remediation report means a report prepared by a suitably qualified building professional that reviews and reports on investigations of any defects within the unit title development

Clause 37

In clause 37, after new regulation 33(1)(j) (page 39, after line 38), insert:

(ja)

any remediation reports commissioned by the body corporate within the previous 3 years:

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper will require any pre-contract disclosure statement issued under section 146(2) of the Act to include any remediation reports commissioned by the body corporate within the previous three years.
