Proposed amendment

Harete Hipango, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 8

In clause 8(1), replace the definition of harm (page 12, line 20) with:

harm includes—

(a)

physical, psychological, emotional, or sexual harm:

(b)

neglect

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper amends the Oversight of Oranga Tamariki System and Children and Young People’s Commission Bill. The current definition of “harm” omits neglect.
