Proposed amendment

Chris Penk, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 13

Delete clause 13(4) (page 11, lines 14 to 18).

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper amends the Severe Weather Emergency Recovery Legislation Bill. There is no need for this Bill to state who the Minister “may” contact to seek nominations for appointments to the Panel, unless this Bill is intending to suggest that there are some entities that may not be contacted by the Minister for such purpose.
