This Supplementary Order Paper amends the Self-contained Motor Vehicles Legislation Bill to allow the New Zealand Motor Caravan Association (NZMCA) to certify self-contained motor vehicles, as previously they have done the bulk of voluntary certifications for self-contained vehicles. The NZMCA will be a certifier alongside any other certifiers appointed by the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Board. The Board will not be able to revoke the NZMCA’s ability to certify vehicles.
