Clause 4
In clause 4, delete subclause (6) (page 7, lines 23 and 24).
Explanatory note
This Amendment Paper amends the Education and Training Amendment Bill. A school board includes a number of people, not least of which are parent-elected members. Therefore, a school board has the relevant experience and expertise when considering who could be a part of the school community. In contrast, a sponsor may not have the breadth of experience or expertise to make such consideration.
