Hon Peeni Henare, in Committee, to move the following amendment:
Clause 27A
In clause 27A, after subclause (3) (page 72, after line 6), insert:
(3A)
An iwi authority or anyone who is invited to make comment under section 24M(b) to (ea) may recover from the applicant the actual and reasonable costs incurred from participation in relation to the relevant substantive application.
Explanatory note
This Amendment Paper amends the Fast-track Approvals Bill. It provides for an amendment that ensures that cost factors will not inhibit hearing the views of iwi authorities and those invited to make comment under clause 24M(b) to (ea).
