Proposed amendment

Hūhana Lyndon, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

New clause 6AAA

Before clause 6 (page 16, before line 31), insert:

6AAA Te Tiriti o Waitangi

In achieving the purpose of this Act, all persons exercising functions and powers under it must give effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper inserts a clause into the Fast-track Approvals Bill to require all persons exercising functions and powers to give effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
