Proposed amendment

Scott Willis, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 14

In clause 14(2)(b), replace “but need only provide a general” (page 21, line 6) with “and need to provide a specific”.

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends clause 14 of the Fast-track Approvals Bill to ensure that a specific level of detail is required for each proposed approval. A specific or comprehensive level of detail is far more desirable and will mean fewer mistakes are made and disasters will be avoided.
