Lan Pham, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 14

In clause 14(3)(e), after “description” (page 21, line 36), insert “and detailed ecological assessment”.

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends the Fast-track Approvals Bill to require a detailed ecological assessment to be included in referral applications. A detailed ecological assessment is needed to ensure adverse effects or impacts are well understood.
