Proposed amendments

Steve Abel, in Committee, to move the following amendments:

Clause 22B

In clause 22B(1)(b)(ii), replace “.” (page 37, line 14) with “; and”.

In clause 22B(1), after paragraph (b) (page 37, after line 14), insert:

(c)

the project complies with existing environmental protections.

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends the Fast-track Approvals Bill. The criteria for accepting a referral application should include that the application complies with existing environmental protections.
