Proposed amendment

Lan Pham, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 23

In clause 23, after subclause (3) (page 40, after line 14), insert:

(4)

The Minister must specify that the project be publicly notified, and that the notice invite interested persons or groups to make a submission to the panel.

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends the Fast-track Approvals Bill. All projects should be publicly notified because they have regional or national significance.
