Fast-track Approvals Bill

Steve Abel, in Committee, to move the following amendments:

Clause 24WD

In clause 24WD(1)(c), replace “.” (page 64, line 36) with “; or”.

After clause 24WD(1)(c) (page 64, after line 36), insert:

there are adverse environmental impacts from the activity or activities for which the approval is sought.

This Amendment Paper amends the Fast-track Approvals Bill. Approvals must be declined where there are adverse impacts.
