Proposed amendment

Hūhana Lyndon, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Schedule 3

In Schedule 3, clause 7(1A), after paragraph (a) (page 85, after line 3), insert:

(aa)

must include at least 1 member with an understanding of tikanga Māori and mātauranga Māori; and

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends the Fast-track Approvals Bill. It would ensure that the members of an expert panel include a member with an understanding of tikanga Māori and mātauranga Māori.
