Proposed amendments
Tangi Utikere, in Committee, to move the following amendments:
Clause 1
In clause 1, after “(Clean Vehicle Standard”
(page 1, line 3), insert “and Targets for Reducing Carbon Dioxide Emissions”

Clause 2
In clause 2(1), replace “1 July 2024”
(page 1, line 6) with “2 October 2024”
.
Clause 3
In clause 3, after “Land Transport Act 1998”
(page 2, line 2), insert “and regulatory mechanisms and secondary legislation made under the Land Transport Act 1998”
.
Clause 4
In clause 4, after “Crown”
(page 2, line 4), insert “, including those Crown entities defined in section 7 of the Crown Entities Act 2004”
.
Clause 5
In clause 5, new section 167BA(1), replace “services”
(page 2, line 13) with “back-office administration”
.
Clause 7
In clause 7, delete subclause (1) (page 3, line 14).
In clause 7, after subclause (2), insert:

, insert “, provided that any such target is not set at a higher level than in any previous calendar year”
