Resource Management (Extended Duration of Coastal Permits for Marine Farms) Amendment Bill

Proposed amendment

Steve Abel, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 4

In clause 4, new section 165ZFHB, insert as subsection (2) (page 3, after line 16):

However, nothing in this subpart applies to a coastal permit authorising aquaculture activities in relation to finfish (as that term is defined in section 2(1) of the Fisheries Act 1996).

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends the Resource Management (Extended Duration of Coastal Permits for Marine Farms) Amendment Bill.
