Steve Abel, in Committee, to move the following amendments:
Clause 4
In clause 4, in new section 165ZFHL(1)(b), replace “.”
(page 7, line 31) with “; and”

In clause 4, after new section 165ZFHL(1)(b) (page 7, after line 31), insert:
(c)
any other person who is affected in relation to the application or matter if the consent authority decides that the activity’s adverse effects on the person are minor or more than minor (but are not less than minor).
Explanatory note
This Amendment Paper amends the Resource Management (Extended Duration of Coastal Permits for Marine Farms) Amendment Bill. It would widen the cohort of actors who must be notified of, and who may therefore make submissions on, the proposed review under new section 165ZFHL.
