Proposed amendment

Darleen Tana, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 4

In clause 4, new section 165ZFHC(1)(a), replace “20 years” (page 3, line 20) with “5 years”.

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends the Resource Management (Extended Duration of Coastal Permits for Marine Farms) Amendment Bill. It would change the expiry date extension for permits under the Bill from 20 years to 5 years.
