Proposed amendment

Lan Pham, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 12

In clause 12(2), delete “(3) and” (page 13, line 33).

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends clause 12 of the Resource Management (Consenting and Other System Changes) Amendment Bill to retain section 38(3) of the principal Act. Section 38(3) allows the Minister of Conservation to authorise officers of the Department of Conservation or of a local authority to carry out the functions of an enforcement officer.
