Proposed amendment

Lan Pham, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 28

In clause 28, replace new section 88(2AB) (page 22, lines 10 to 13) with:

(2AB)

A consent authority may not accept an application that does not fully comply with subsection (2)(b).

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends the Resource Management (Consenting and Other System Changes) Amendment Bill to replace new section 88(2AB). This will mean that environmental information will remain useful in denying consent applications.
