Proposed amendment

Francisco Hernandez, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 37

In clause 37, new section 106A, replace subsection (4) (page 27, lines 24 to 28) with:

(4)

This section does not apply to land use consents if the use of the land for which the consent is sought is primary production activities, as described in the national planning standards.

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends the Resource Management (Consenting and Other System Changes) Amendment Bill to remove exemptions for natural hazards and primary production.
