Proposed amendment

Lan Pham, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 60

In clause 60, new paragraph (b)(i) of section 322, replace “or a resource consent” (page 42, lines 31) with “a resource consent, a consent notice, or a covenant”.

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends the Resource Management (Consenting and Other System Changes) Amendment Bill to amend new paragraph (b)(i) of section 322. This would provide clarity by including the full range of different tools, including covenants and consent notices, in the types of tools and notices that can be required to be complied with under an abatement notice.
