Proposed amendment

Hon Marama Davidson, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 2

In clause 2, replace “after the date of Royal assent” (page 1, line 5) with “that is 3 years after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent”.

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends the Consumer Guarantees (Right to Repair) Amendment Bill to provide for a three-year commencement period following Royal assent.
