Proposed amendment

Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 2

In clause 2, replace “on the day after” (page 3, line 5) with “six months after”.

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends the Education and Training Amendment Bill (No 2). There has been no indication that sufficient time has been given to school boards and universities to be compliant with the bill once it has been enacted. Six months will provide sufficient time.
