Proposed amendment

Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 12

After clause 12, new section 281B(1) (page 7, after line 17), insert:

(1A)

The complaints procedure in subsection (1) should take into consideration mechanisms against vexatious complaints.

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends the Education and Training Amendment Bill (No 2). Any complaints procedure should consider mechanisms against vexatious complaints, especially when a complaint becomes unreasonable, repetitious, or contrary to domestic and international laws and conventions.
