Proposed amendment

Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 29B

In clause 29B, replace “1 January 2027” (page 12, lines 23 and 24) with “1 January 2028”.

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends the Education and Training Amendment Bill (No 2). Considering the numerous changes to the primary and secondary education sector, such as curricula, qualifications, subject list, and attendance examples, it would be prudent to push the requirement for a second or third strategic plan out by another year.
