Clause 2
Replace clause 2 (page 2, lines 5 to 9) with:
2 Commencement
(1)
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which the Minister presents a Māori Impact Assessment report to the House of Representatives.
(2)
In subsection (1), Māori Impact Assessment report means a report on the social and financial effects of the amendments in this Act on Māori that has been prepared by a person with relevant expertise and experience.
Explanatory note
This Amendment Paper amends the Social Security (Accident Compensation and Calculation of Weekly Income) Amendment Bill.
