Clause 4
Replace clause 4 (page 2, lines 11 to 15) with:
4 Section 43 amended (Default national maximum trading hours)
Repeal section 43(2).
Clause 6
Replace clause 6 (page 3, lines 1 to 10) with:
6 Section 48 repealed (Sale on Anzac Day morning, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Christmas Day restricted: off-licences)
Repeal section 48.
New clause 6A
After clause 6 (page 3, after line 10), insert:
6A Section 49 amended (Remote sales exempted from trading hours restrictions)

In section 49(2)(a), replace “sections 46 and 48” with “section 46”.

In section 49(2)(b), replace “sections 48 and 59(1)” with “section 59(1)”.
Clause 11
Replace clause 11(1) (page 4, lines 5 to 11) with:

In the Schedule, form 10, under the heading “Conditions”, revoke paragraph (a).

In the Schedule, new Part 3, replace clause 5(b) (page 5, lines 24 to 29) with:
(b)
prohibits the sale on or delivery from the premises, on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, or Christmas Day, or before 1 pm on Anzac Day.
Explanatory note
This Amendment Paper amends the Sale and Supply of Alcohol (Sales on Anzac Day Morning, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Christmas Day) Amendment Bill to remove restrictions for off-licences.
