Education Act Commencement Order 1965: revoked, on 1 August 2020, pursuant to section 669(3)(a) of the Education and Training Act 2020 (2020 No 38).

This order is administered by the Ministry of Education.

A Proclamation

WHEREAS by subsection (2) of section 1 of the Education Act 1964 it is provided that the Education Act 1964 shall come into force on a date to be appointed for the commencement thereof by the Governor-General by Proclamation:

Now, therefore, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as follows:

This Proclamation may be cited as the Education Act Commencement Order 1965.

The Education Act 1964 shall come into force on the 15th day of October 1965.
