This order brings into force, on 1 May 1987, section 13 of the Wheat Board Amendment Act 1986 (and, as a consequence, section 14 of that Act). The effect of section 13 is to dissolve the New Zealand Wheat Board on that date, and to transfer the assets and liabilities of the Board to the Crown. Section 14 repeals the Wheat Board Act 1965 and its amendments, and also makes a number of amendments to other enactments as a consequence of the dissolution of the New Zealand Wheat Board.
Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2012.
Date of notification in Gazette: 4 December 1986.
