Southland Electricity Act Commencement Order 1994: revoked, on 3 June 2017, by section 4(3) of the Statutes Repeal Act 2017 (2017 No 23).

This order is administered by the Treasury.
PURSUANT to section 1(3) of the Southland Electricity Act 1993, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
This order may be cited as the Southland Electricity Act Commencement Order 1994.
Section 36 of the Southland Electricity Act 1993 shall come into force on the 30th day of June 1994.

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings into force, on 30 June 1994, section 36 of the Southland Electricity Act 1993.
That section—
Inserts the name “The Power Company Limited” in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Ombudsmen Act 1975, Schedule 14 to the Income Tax Act 1976 (which relates to grouping of tax losses), Schedule 1 to the Official Information Act 1982, and Schedules 4 and 6 to the Public Finance Act 1989:
“The Power Company Limited”
Provides for the repeal of the Southland Electric Power Supply Act 1936, the State-Owned Enterprises Amendment Act (No 2) 1992, and makes certain consequential repeals.
