Education (Specified Institutions) Order 2000: revoked, on 1 August 2020, pursuant to section 669(3)(b) of the Education and Training Act 2020 (2020 No 38).

Pursuant to section 92(4) of the Education Act 1989, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
This order is the Education (Specified Institutions) Order 2000.
This order comes into force on 1 July 2000.
Schedule 5 of the Education Act 1989 is amended by inserting, in their appropriate alphabetical order, the names of the following institutions:
Central Regional Health School, Wellington
Felix Donnelly College, Tuakau
Homai Vision Education Centre, Auckland
Northern Hospitals School, Auckland
Southern Regional Health School, Christchurch.
Marie Shroff,Clerk of the Executive Council.
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 1 July 2000, adds a number of institutions to the list of specified institutions in Schedule 5 of the Education Act 1989. These institutions are the Central Regional Health School, Felix Donnelly College, Homai Vision Education Centre, Northern Hospitals School, and Southern Regional Health School.
This means that these schools are special institutions for the purposes of section 95 of the Education Act 1989, and the Minister of Education may therefore determine the composition of the Boards of Trustees of those schools.
