The burning of wire coated with any material is prohibited.
(2)
Subclause (1) does not apply if the wire is—
burnt at industrial and trade premises that have—
a resource consent for the discharge produced; and
emission control equipment that is designed and operated to minimise emissions of dioxins and other toxics from the process; or
part of a building that is burnt for the purpose of training firefighters.
