Fisheries (Reporting) Amendment Regulations (No 2) 2007: revoked, on 1 October 2017, pursuant to regulation 52 of the Fisheries (Reporting) Regulations 2017 (LI 2017/154).

Pursuant to section 297(1)(h) of the Fisheries Act 1996, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.
These regulations are the Fisheries (Reporting) Amendment Regulations (No 2) 2007.
These regulations come into force on 1 April 2007.
These regulations amend the Fisheries (Reporting) Regulations 2001.
Paragraph (d) of the definition of shark fins in regulation 3(1) is amended by omitting “white shark,”.

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations remove the reference to white shark from the definition of shark fins in the Fisheries (Reporting) Regulations 2001.
The white pointer shark is now protected under the Wildlife Act 1953 and the Fisheries (White Pointer Shark—High Seas Protection) Regulations 2007.
