Explanatory note
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice, which comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, amends the Grey-Faced Petrel (Northern Muttonbird) Notice 1979 to—
add Moutohorā (also known as Whale Island) to the list of islands in clause 6(1) for which permits authorising the hunting or killing of grey-faced petrels (northern muttonbirds) may be issued; and
include Te Tapatoru ā Toi as a committee that may issue permits authorising the hunting or killing of grey-faced petrels on Moutohorā.
