Takeovers Code (Revocation of Exemptions) Notice 2011

Pursuant to section 45(8) of the Takeovers Act 1993, the Takeovers Panel gives the following notice.

Notice

1  Title

  • This notice is the Takeovers Code (Revocation of Exemptions) Notice 2011.

2  Commencement

  • This notice comes into force on 1 June 2011.

3  Revocations

  • The notices specified in the Schedule are revoked.

4  Revocation of this notice

  • This notice is revoked on 29 June 2011.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice, which comes into force on 1 June 2011 and is revoked on 29 June 2011, revokes the Takeovers Code exemption notices listed in the Schedule. The events or transactions to which the notices relate have taken place or have been completed and so there is no need for those notices to remain in force.
