Pursuant to section 215(b) of the Student Loan Scheme Act 2011, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

Regulations

1 Title

These regulations are the Student Loan Scheme (Charitable Organisations) Regulations 2011.

2 Commencement

These regulations come into force on 1 April 2012.

3 Charitable organisations for purposes of Student Loan Scheme Act 2011

(1)

The organisations listed in the Schedule are charitable organisations for the purposes of the definition of charity in section 4(1) of the Student Loan Scheme Act 2011.

(2)

A reference to an organisation in the Schedule includes that organisation’s international, national, and regional branches, offices, sections, organisations, affiliates, members, associations, and programmes, if any.
