These regulations are administered by the Ministry of Transport.


Pursuant to section 88 of the Road User Charges Act 2012, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

Regulations

1 Title
  • These regulations are the Road User Charges (Administration Fees) Regulations 2012.

2 Commencement
  • These regulations come into force on 1 August 2012.

3 Interpretation
  • (1) In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,—

    specified RUC vehicle type has the same meaning as in regulation 5(4) of the Road User Charges Regulations 2012.

    (2) Terms and expressions used and not defined in these regulations but defined in the Act have, in these regulations, the same meaning as in the Act.

4 Administration fees
  • The administration fees set out in the Schedule are payable for the matters to which they relate.

5 Fees exclusive of GST
  • The administration fees set out in the Schedule are exclusive of good and services tax.
