Pursuant to section 2 of the Land Transport Act 1998, the Minister of Transport gives the following notice.

Notice

1 Title

This notice is the Land Transport (Alcohol Interlock Devices) Notice 2012.

2 Commencement

This notice comes into force on 10 September 2012.

3 Approval of alcohol interlock devices

The following devices are approved as alcohol interlock devices:

(a)

the Draeger Interlock XT:

(b)

the Smart Start Model SSI-2020, with or without the photo ID camera module:

(c)

the Autowatch TAB 720:

(d)

the Smart Start Model SSI-2030.

Clause 3(c): inserted, on 16 January 2020, by clause 4 of the Land Transport (Alcohol Interlock Devices) Amendment Notice 2019 (LI 2019/332).

Clause 3(d): inserted, on 20 May 2021, by clause 4 of the Land Transport (Alcohol Interlock Devices) Amendment Notice 2021 (LI 2021/74).
