Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 21 February 2014, amends the Fisheries (Maketu Taiapure) Order 1996 by replacing the Schedule, which sets out the boundaries of the Maketu taiapure-local fishery. Modern technology allows more accurate boundaries to now be determined and described.

Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2012.

Date of notification in Gazette: 20 February 2014.

This order is administered by the Ministry for Primary Industries.
