Pursuant to section 30 of the Corrections Act 2004, the Minister of Corrections gives the following notice.

1 Title

  • This notice is the Community Work Centre (Wilson Street (Whanganui)) Notice 2014.

2 Commencement

  • This notice takes effect from 1 April 2014.

3 Wilson Street (Whanganui) Community Work Centre

  • The land described in the Schedule is a community work centre to be known as the Wilson Street (Whanganui) Community Work Centre.

4 Revocation

All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land Registration District containing 1 251 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1 DP 354737 and Section 255, Town of Whanganui, and being all of the land comprised and described in Computer Freehold Register 223299 (Wellington Land Registry).

All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land Registration District containing 737 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1 DP 48383, and being all of the land comprised and described in Computer Freehold Register WN 18D/88 (Wellington Land Registry).

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice, which takes effect from 1 April 2014, is made under the Corrections Act 2004. It declares the land described in the Schedule to be a community work centre to be known as the Wilson Street (Whanganui) Community Work Centre. The Wilson Street (Whanganui) Community Work Centre is the same centre previously known as the Wilson Street (Wanganui) Community Work Centre, but the legal description of the land is updated to reflect the leasing of some additional land that adjoins the land previously used for the Wilson Street (Wanganui) Community Work Centre. This notice revokes the notice that constituted the Wilson Street (Wanganui) Community Work Centre.
