Land Valuation Tribunals Amendment Rules 2014

Pursuant to the Land Valuation Proceedings Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following rules.

Rules

1 Title

  • These rules are the Land Valuation Tribunals Amendment Rules 2014.

2 Commencement

  • These rules come into force on 1 July 2014.

3 Principal rules
4 Rule 2 amended (Interpretation and application)

  • In rule 2(1), definition of District Courts Rules, replace “District Courts Rules 1948 (SR 1948/197)” with “District Courts Rules 2014”.

5 Rule 8 amended (Title of proceedings)

  • In rule 8(2), replace “rule 9A” with “Part 5”.

6 Rule 22 amended (Affidavits)

  • In rule 22, replace “Rule 199” with “Subpart 8 of Part 9”.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the rules, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These rules, which come into force on 1 July 2014, amend the Land Valuation Tribunals Rules 1977 consequentially on the making of the District Courts Rules 2014.
