Explanatory note
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
The amendments to Schedule 1 of the principal notice vary 1 or more of the following for quota management stocks with certain fishstock codes:
total allowable catch (TAC):
total allowable commercial catch (TACC):
interim deemed value rate (interim DVR):
basic annual deemed value rate (basic annual DVR):
whether the annual DVR is a different rate for each different level by which a commercial fisher’s reported catch exceeds the fisher’s annual catch entitlement, and the different rates that apply to each level (differential DVR).
The variations are as follows (amounts not mentioned below are unchanged):

Schedule 2 of the principal notice sets out the differential DVR for certain quota management stocks. As the differential DVRs for fishstock codes PDO7, SAE7, and SCC3 are changed in Schedule 1 from special to standard, they are now covered by the first item in Schedule 2 (which applies to all fishstock codes with a standard differential DVR) and the separate entries for those codes in Schedule 2 are deleted.
