These regulations are made under section 168 of the Land Transport Act 1998 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.
These regulations are the Transport Services Licensing Amendment Regulations 2017.
These regulations come into force on 1 July 2017.
These regulations amend the Transport Services Licensing Regulations 1989 (the principal regulations).
In Schedule 1, replace “28.20” with “9.78” in each place.
“28.20”
“9.78”
Michael Webster,Clerk of the Executive Council.
These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 2017, consequentially amend the Transport Services Licensing Regulations 1989 to align the vetting fees set out in Schedule 1 (changing $28.20 to $9.78 including GST) with the vetting request fee to be prescribed in the Policing (Cost Recovery) Regulations 2017 ($8.50 excluding GST). The figure of $9.78 is calculated by multiplying $8.50 by 1.15 and then rounding the product of $9.775 to $9.78.
