These regulations are made under section 360(1)(h) of the Resource Management Act 1991 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.

Regulations

1 Title

These regulations are the Resource Management (Exemption) Regulations 2017 Amendment Regulations 2017.

2 Commencement

These regulations come into force on 2 June 2017.

3 Principal regulations

These regulations amend the Resource Management (Exemption) Regulations 2017 (the principal regulations).

4 Regulation 5 amended (Exemption for brodifacoum)

(1)

In regulation 5(b), replace “into or onto— ” with “into or onto any of the following land, or into any water or air above, on, or in that land:”.

(2)

In regulation 5(b)(i), replace “; or” with “:”.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations amend the Resource Management (Exemption) Regulations 2017 to clarify that the exemption for the discharge of brodifacoum also applies to a discharge into water or air above, on, or in the relevant land. The amendment comes into force on 2 June 2017.
