These regulations are made under section 211 and clause 2 of Schedule 1 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015—
on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and
on the recommendation of the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety made after complying with section 217 of that Act.
These regulations are the Health and Safety in Employment (Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways) Amendment Regulations 2017.
These regulations come into force on 1 December 2017.
These regulations amend the Health and Safety in Employment (Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways) Regulations 1999 (the principal regulations).

In Schedule 1, definitions of aerosol, aerosol dispenser, and water capacity, replace “regulation 3 of the Hazardous Substances (Compressed Gases) Regulations 2004” with “regulation 15.1 of the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017”.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 December 2017, amend the Health and Safety in Employment (Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways) Regulations 1999. The amendments replace references to the Hazardous Substances (Compressed Gases) Regulations 2004 with references to the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017.
