These regulations are made under section 211 and clause 2 of Schedule 1 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015—

(a)

on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and

(b)

on the recommendation of the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety made after complying with section 217 of that Act.

Regulations

1 Title

These regulations are the Health and Safety in Employment (Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways) Amendment Regulations 2017.

2 Commencement

These regulations come into force on 1 December 2017.

3 Principal regulations
4 Schedule 1 amended

(1)

In Schedule 1, definitions of aerosol, aerosol dispenser, and water capacity, replace “regulation 3 of the Hazardous Substances (Compressed Gases) Regulations 2004” with “regulation 15.1 of the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017”.

(2)

In Schedule 1, definition of cylinder, replace “regulation 3 of the Hazardous Substances (Compressed Gases) Regulations 2004” with “regulation 3(1) of the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017”.
