These regulations are made under sections 200 and 202 of the Corrections Act 2004 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.
These regulations are the Corrections Amendment Regulations 2019.
These regulations come into force on 6 December 2019.
These regulations amend the Corrections Regulations 2005 (the principal regulations).
In regulation 65E(2), replace “65C(2)” with “65C(2)(b)”.

These regulations, which come into force on 6 December 2019, amend the Corrections Regulations 2005 (the principal regulations). The amendments—
refine a cross-reference in regulation 65E(2) of the principal regulations (changing “65C(2)” to “65C(2)(b)”):
replace “2000” with “2011” in regulations 86(2) and 194(4) of the principal regulations (owing to the Legal Services Act 2011 replacing the Legal Services Act 2000):
replace “narcotic detection dogs” with “detection dogs” in regulation 111(1)(d) of the principal regulations (to include all detection dogs):
adjust Schedule 5 of the principal regulations (owing to changes in restraint policy) by—
revoking clauses 3(f) and (g), 8, and 9:
clarifying the restraints available to security officers under clause 4:
revoking the definitions of tie-down bed and wrist bed restraint in clause 16:
replacing the definition of torso restraint in clause 16.
