1 Title

This order is the New Zealand Public Health and Disability (Schedule 4B) Order 2021.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on 25 May 2021.

3 Schedule 4B of New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000 amended

(1)

In the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000, Schedule 4B, item relating to class D, replace “2204.29.18” with “2204.22.90, 2204.29.90”.

(2)

In the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000, Schedule 4B, item relating to class E, replace “2204.29.13” with “2204.22.19, 2204.29.20”.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order amends Schedule 4B of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000 for the purpose of aligning the rates for classes of alcohol under that Act with the classification system applied to alcoholic beverages under Part B of the Excise and Excise-equivalent Duties Table. This order comes into force on 25 May 2021.

1 General

This is a consolidation of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability (Schedule 4B) Order 2021 that incorporates the amendments made to the legislation so that it shows the law as at its stated date.
